Stacy received her undergraduate degree in Public Health, Health Care Administration with high distinction from Indiana University in 1999 and received her law degree from the Indiana University Maurer School of Law in 2002. During her career in private practice, Stacy has represented physicians, hospitals and other health care professionals before the Indiana Department of Insurance and in State and Federal Courts. She also has experience in general liability matters, including for hospitals and physician practices. Stacy has jury trial experience and has argued before the Indiana Court of Appeals. Stacy is a member of the Defense Trial Counsel of Indiana (DTCI) and was named DTCI’s Young Lawyer of the Year in 2010. Starting in 2012, Stacy has been recognized as a Rising Star and then as a Super Lawyer in Medical Malpractice Defense. She has presented at Continuing Education seminars on topics related to medical malpractice defense, and she has also presented at meetings involving residents and other health care professionals.
